LOSING AN ICON
Most folks think of me as a "ROCKER", which I am. But bigger than that, I'm a MUSIC lover. Regardless of genre, great music
can connect and move a person
like nothing else. It's universal,
and I’ve been hooked for 30 years now.
Every once and a while...not that often, and certainly not in the last couple of decades, someone
comes along who is bigger than genre, bigger than music, and
larger than life. Someone who
moves people, unites people and earns the title of Icon.
In the late 1970’s and throughout the 80’s/early 90’s, this man was always right there alongside the music I grew up with. And while I never really sought out or
purchased his music, it was still intertwined with the fabric of life in those days, and as much a part of growing up as MTV or Star Wars.
Yesterday we lost an Icon.
And irregardless of all the
eccentricity and controversy that revolved around this man in later years, I join with the millions of others today who are shocked and saddened by this loss. God

Busier than ever. In addition to my normal 9-5 stuff which includes writing corp. websites, brochures and marketing plans, I’m working with Grammy-winner Rick Finch and his management to formulate the comeback of the century, and a rejuvenation of the music industry. This means lots of media outreach, press, promotions, alliance-building and about 90 other things. If you don’t know the name Rick Finch, trust me, you will soon!
